OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 means that the textile has been independently tested for substances that may be harmful to human health. The testing covers every certified component-from the fabric and yarn to stitching and other accessories-against more than 1,000 regulated and potentially harmful substances. Testing requirements become stricter for textiles designed for direct and frequent skin contact.
